Allied Motion Twinsburg, Ohio

The Allied Motion technical unit in Twinsburg, Ohio, has a long history of providing Steering Systems to the Small Vehicle and Off-Road Vehicle industries.  Through the acquisition in 2018 of Maval Ind. LLC’s OEM Steering division Twinsburg became part of the Allied Motion family of companies. Founded in 1987, Maval innovated Modular Steering Systems providing Manual Rack and Pinion Steering units and Intermediate Steering Shafts.   In 2018 a separate facility was set up and opened in Twinsburg to give a continuity of service and the same innovative product Maval had built a reputation of supplying. 

Over the years, with the additional resources of Allied Motion, Twinsburg has grown in Engineering Support, streamlined Manufacturing process, and Inventory control. All these growth areas help to lower costs and better serve the customer.

 Allied Motion Twinsburg has played an integral part in the development of the Next Generation Steering System, combining Allied Motions technology of Electric Power Steering with a Rack and Pinion Steering Gear to form one Electrically Assisted Steering unit. It is providing customers with a solution that simplifies their vehicle design process.

We currently have over 40 employees at our Twinsburg site, with an operational footprint of approximately 57,200 sq ft, with 2,500 of it functioning as office space.

We are located in Northeast Ohio, between Cleveland and Akron at the confluence of Interstates 90, 80, 76, 77, and 71. This makes for great logistical connections with many of our customers being within 2 days shipping time. Twinsburg is best known for its “Twins Day” celebration held every year in August.
