Allied Motion Porto, Portugal

Located in Porto, Portugal, Allied Motion Portugal (Porto) was founded in July 2001 under the name of Globe Motors Portugal. The site installed its first production line in November 2002, dedicated to the manufacture of electric motors for the Automotive Industry. Most of our products are supplied to companies that integrate them into power steering systems. Subsequently, these companies deliver them to the OEM’s, that is, to the manufacturers of the motor vehicles, to which they are destined.

Allied Motion Porto employs around 240 people who perform various job roles and functions, including product design and development, process and quality engineering, equipment and infrastructure maintenance, design and execution of parts and equipment, human resources management, administrative and financial management, information systems, logistics, and equipment operation.

The facilities cover an area of ​​28,000 square meters (92k sq. ft) and will soon span to 32,500 square meters (97,500 sq. ft), as an expansion is in process to respond to the growth in the volume of orders from our customers.
